The direction we recommend with the HIBF Series is to begin with higher Speed and lower Feed rates to circumvent catastrophic tool failure. Then reducing the Speed rates and increasing Feed rate until optimizing the best removal rate and tool life. Feed and Speed rates should be reduced to compensate for poor set-up, longer reach, worn spindles, full step over or deeper depths of cut.
